JR RC Trainer Airplane Brushless: rc rtf

RC Electric Park Flyers are an awesome introduction to the hobby of radio controlled vehicles. An electric park flyer is a slower moving aircraft with much easier controls to master and a substantially smaller price tag than the larger gas/nitro RC planes. The price is a primary concern for the novice as many crashes can be expected while learning how to pilot the craft. Since the park flyers do not achieve the speed of a gas or nitro version they are less prone to disintegration and irreparable damage.

PLACES TO FLY

I recommend some backyard practice before heading to a Neighborhood Park and wowing the locals. Learn before you burn. RC electric park flyers do not handle winds of over 10mph very well and so this should be taken into consideration when choosing a destination.

PARKS

A local park is a great venue for flying but not all parks allow them (stay away from dog parks). Check with your local park board to determine where you can legally fly. Please, always respect other people in the park and never fly your electric park flyer near anyone or over their head.

GYMNASIUMS

This is perhaps the most ideal location for all RC electric park flyers as a gymnasium offers no wind and a fairly large space for flying. Check with your local community centers and schools to determine if space is available and what, if anything, it may cost to rent. Having several aspiring aces to cover the cost should make this a very attractive option. In my experience, renting these spaces usually costs around $30-50 an hour depending on the season. During summer most sports are outside and this means space should be on the cheap side.

DUDE, PIMP MY ELECTRIC PARK FLYER!!

Oh yah, with all the recent advances in motor and battery technology it is now possible to seriously pimp out your RC electric park flyers. Many gas/nitro enthusiasts are switching over to electrical systems, as they are gas and pollution free, but can also deliver outrageous performance. A brushless motor paired with the new LiPo batteries can yield some astounding speeds.

1. Electric planes can achieve speeds in excess of 90kph

2. Electric cars can achieve speeds in excess of 120kph

3. Electric boats achieve speeds in excess of 120kph

RC electric park flyers are a fun and affordable way to introduce you to this great hobby. There are a wide variety of styles and models for under $100 and with online ordering you can have one shipped to your house in a week.

I would recommend grabbing some extra batteries as usually they only give you about 30-40 minutes of flying time on a full charge.
