Great Planes RC ARF Helicopter Brushless: rc rtf

An oxygen acetylene flame is about 6000 degrees F. Considering molten steel to about 2800F, which is pretty freakin hot!

You how much a package of oxygen acetylene torch. You can solder sets of air-conditioning in line, copper water pipe weld silver soldering stainless steel tube welded 4130 chromoly, and even the heat and bend metal 1 inch thick. But oxy-fuel torches can be extremely dangerous if not used correctly. OSHA requires employers to even ensure that workers who use equipment to oxyfuel properly trained and qualified for oxy-fuel welding, cutting, heating, and brazing. (See 29 CFR 1910.252)

In my 30 years and over in the welding field, I am always surprised by the lack of training on the safe operation of gas cutting equipment .. Even experienced welders are often deficient in the use of oxygen acetylene torches, except that they have received practical training where the demonstration skill was required

Safe operation of oxyacetylene equipment requires training, the willingness to follow basic safety guidelines, and understand some basic principles:

o Oxygen cylinders are pressurized to over 2500 psi and can become a projectile if the reverse. Always, always, always keep the cap screwed on when the bottle is not guaranteed.

Bottles o are filled with acetylene gas acetylene gas compressed into a porous material saturated with liquid acetone. They should remain in position vertically to avoid damaging the liquid acetone regulators and restrict the flow of gas. If you have to fix them mail, let them stand for a while before using it.

cylinder o Never carry or store in an enclosed space (i, e, chest car, truck or toolbox) the welding supply stores often have pictures of cars destroyed by the explosion of oxygen cylinders and acetylene carried in the trunk of a car. They even make you sign a waiver if you want to transport the bottles yourself.

o Do not use damaged equipment.

o Always open oxygen cylinders very slowly. Opening them is very fast dangerous and may cause the regulator to explode. Yes I said explode. (If you do not believe me, Google burnout "regulator")

No valves flapper valve or combination use flashback / prevent reverse gas flow and prevent mixing of gases.

o Never use oil on some equipment. Oil in the presence of pure oxygen can ignite easily

o Always bleed the gas and rear screws controller when you're finished with the torch

There are several manufacturers of equipment oxycutting: Victor Smith, and Harris are three major brands and designs their equipment each with different characteristics in mind. Thus of flares of each manufacturer is different. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

The first thing to do when preparing to operate an oxyfuel torch is to inspect the equipment. Make sure the bottles are secured to prevent them from falling .. Then inspect hoses to make sure they are not cracked or rotting. Do you feel that the brass connectors to ensure they are all well and ensure the valves are closed cylinders with regulators zero reading.

If the regulators are not reading Zero, one of two things wrong: the gauge or gauges were damaged or the previous user failed to bleed the pressure line. To release pressure, open the appropriate valve on the torch and turn the screw until the needle moves zero. If the needle does not go to zero, the gauge is damaged and should not be used.

If the gauges are determined to work normally the next thing to do is make sure that the screws are supported legislation that you can not feel the spring pressure on them.

Here is a simple ABC, 123 list to use for setup and shutdown of equipment oxy-fuel.

o Wear personal namely the protective shade equipment of 3 to 5 items ANSI eyewear, gloves, etc.

o Inspect equipment for: State General pipes, gauges to zero, check valves, flashlight, chains on bottles

o If the gauges are not reading at zero lines let drain for zero gauge

o If the gauges are damaged replace

o oxygen cylinder valves open very slowly. (This is the most important step on this page)

Tip o Select proper guidelines according to manufacturers

o Use Council table manufacturers to determine pressure settings

o Choose gauges

o lines serving individual

o acetylene valve torch to open a quarter turn and torches

o Increase the acetylene flame high enough to where the soot disappears.

o add oxygen to the fire until blue cones define the creation of a neutral flame.

o Conduct work

o Turn off the flame, turning off gas valves at the torch (manufacturers differ on whether to disable or oxygen acetylene first time.)

O Close the bottles

o lines serving

o Once the gauges are given to zero, back screw regulatory

Back to the torch o storage place

o Secure oxy-fuel equipment for the user following
