Looking for a little advice on RC gliders: rc rtf

I am looking to get into model flying, and want to start with a glider… there are no flying clubs near where i will be flying so i will have to cross my fingers and hope i don’t trash the plane on its virgin flight hahahaha but i guess if you take it nice and slow it should be ok… well i am looking to get this kit (seeing as it comes with every thing) they have said there is a little building involved but nothing to tricky.. what do you think of the kit? is there a better RTF kit out there? looking to spend no more than $250-$300
